Job Overview: Quality Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Create, review, and execute test cases and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure quality releases.
• Validate web, mobile (Android/iOS), and desktop applications.
• Analyze test results and prepare test reports.
• Support continuous improvement of automation frameworks and testing processes.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience in manual testing and defect management.
• Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium.
• Knowledge of automation frameworks and test scripting.
• Basic programming skills in Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Basic SQL and database testing knowledge.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Performance Testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure Pipelines).
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience testing web, mobile, and cloud-based applications.

Understanding of basic web technologies and Android and iOS application (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
